PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional indoor heating system that the installation performance is bad because of the large product size and the heavy weight and a system having a dome shape at the ceiling of bathroom cannot be fixed because the space at the planar section is substantially zero. SOLUTION: The indoor heating system comprises a heat exchanger for heating indoor air introduced through a circulation fan by exchanging heat with hot water wherein the heat exchanger comprises a hot water pipe. The ratio of the outside diameter cross-sectional area of the pipe to the overall cross-sectional area of the heat exchanger body in the direction orthogonal to the pipe, determined by the product of the width and the depth of the heat exchanger body, is set in the range of 15%-17% and the overall cross-sectional area of the heat exchanger body is set not larger than 890 cm<2> .
