PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable telephone contained in a charger to be detached and attached without interference of an engagement projecting part and to make a feeling of operation better. SOLUTION: A projecting surface 29 is provided on a strut of an engagement projecting part 23 so as to lock a portable telephone set to a charger 2. At the time of removing the portable telephone set from the charger 2, the portable telephone set is tilted and a lower part of the portable telephone set body is put on the projecting surface 29. The strut of the engagement projecting part 23 of the charger 2 rotates in accordance with an angle of the portable telephone set and is unlocked. Since the engagement projecting part 23 subsides, the portable telephone set is not hooked by the engagement projecting part 23 and it can smoothly be taken out of the charger 2. Moreover, since an R surface 28 is formed on both sides of a surface the engagement projecting part 23 contacts and made smooth, the telephone set can be smoothly detached even if the engagement projecting part 23 contacts a projecting and recessing part of a portable telephone set case body.
