PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold assembly for injection molding having a slide mold and capable of certainly suppressing fixing of a molded article to a slide mold by a simple mechanism, and an injection molding method. SOLUTION: The mold assembly for injection molding is constituted of a fixed mold 2, a movable mold 3 movable with respect to the fixed mold 2, the slide mold 4 movable in a direction separated from the movable mold 3, the finger pin 5 obliquely provided so as to straddle the fixed mold 2 and the slide mold 4 so as to guide the movement of the slide mold 4, a slide mold moving means 6 for moving the slide mold 4 and an ejector pin 8 for ejecting the molded article fixed to the molding surface of the slide mold 4. The ejector pin 8 is provided to the slide mold 4 so that one end 9 thereof faces to the molding surface 7 of the slide mold 4 and the other end 10 thereof faces to the fixed mold 2 and, at the time of mold opening, the other end 10 slides on the fixed mold 2 so as to be matched with the movement of the slide mold 4 and one end 9 of the ejector pin 8 is ejected toward the molding surface 7 to suppress the fixing of the molded article 13 to the molding surface 7 of the slide mold 4.
