PURPOSE: A method for treating the surface of drive gear of front door window regulator for automobile is provided to prevent deformation of product by performing surface treatment at low temperature and improve corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance by forming Fe3N compound and metal oxide on the surface of the product. CONSTITUTION: The method for treating surface of drive gear of front door window regulator for automobile comprises the oxynitriding and decarburizing treatment process of gas oxynitriding and decarburizing the drive gear and oxidizing the gas oxynitrided and decarburized drive gear at a temperature of 530 deg.C for 10 to 15 minutes by supplying N2 gas to the molded drive gear of front door window regulator in a N2 gas flux of 3 m¬3/hr at a temperature of 450 deg.C for 30 minutes and supplying NH3-H2-O2 air to the molded drive gear of front door window regulator at a temperature of 570±15 deg.C for 2 hours after molding the drive gear of front door window regulator.
