PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reflectivity and contrast of an electrophoretic equipment having partitions for preventing the flocculation and settlement of electrophoretic particles. SOLUTION: The electrophoretic equipment 20 is housed with an electrode 3 formed on a first substrate 1, a transparent electrode 4 formed on a second substrate 2, an electrophoretic dispersion 10 packed between these electrodes 3 and electronic 4 and the barrier ribs 7 for dividing the electrophoretic dispersion 10. Transparent members 71 are formed on at least the observation side of the barrier ribs 7. |
