PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the adsorption capacity of evaporated fuel in a composite canister and reduce deterioration in the adsorption capacity as much as possible. SOLUTION: The downstream ends of usually-evaporating-fuel supply systems 20, 18 are opened in an intermediate part of an absorbent layer 8 inside a canister C, and in the purge process of adsorbed fuel inside the canister C, the air introduced inside the canister C through an atmospheric port and proceeding to a purge port 17 is passed through an intermediate part zone B of the absorbent layer 8, and then passed through a zone A in the vicinity of the purge port 17 in the adsorbent layer 8.
