PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily realize an insulation processing from the tension member of an optical cable to a device without damaging an optical conductor by fixing the jacket of the optical cable to an optical cable fixing part without ripping it. SOLUTION: An optical cable fixing structure includes a cap 10 with a formed through-hole 11 where the optical cable 1 is inserted, a base seat 16 to be engaged with the cap 10 so as to be attachable/detachable, a metallic U slit part 17 which is fixed to the base seat 16 so as to grasp and fix the tension member of the optical cable 1 and a synthetic resin-made optical cable fixing part 13 having fixing means 18 and 19 for insulation from the device. The cap 10 where the optical cable 1 is inserted is engaged with the base seat 16 and, then, the optical cable 1 is fixed to the optical cable fixing part 13.
