PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress vibration of an upstream part of a suction port integratedly projecting from a sidewall of a cylinder head and curving toward a head cover side. SOLUTION: In a multiple cylinder engine E having the suction ports 41 connecting to plural combustion chambers 16 arranged along a cylinder line integratedly formed with a cylinder head 12, the upstream part of the suction port 41 projects from the side wall of the cylinder head 12 and curving toward the head cover 13 side, an upstream end surface of the suction port 41 and a head cover mounting surface P2 of the cylinder head 12 are arranged on a same surface, a connecting wall 77 communicating the cylinder head 12 and the upstream part of the suction port 41 is formed, and the connecting wall 77 is arranged on the same surface mentioned above. Arranging the connecting wall 77 on the same surface mentioned above enables not only to machine an upstream end surface of suction port 41 and head cover mounting surface P2 simultaneously for contributing improvement of productivity but also to suppress generation of vibration by increasing stiffness of the upstream part of the suction port 41 with the connection wall 77.
