PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound which has an excellent activity-inhibiting action against matrix metalloprotease (MMPs), and to provide a MMPs inhibitor, a medicinal composition, a cosmetic composition, and a skin care preparation, which each contains the compound as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: The dithiazole compound of formula (I) [R1 is H, an alkyl or the like; R2 is H, OH, an alkyl, an aryl, an arylalkoxy, an arylalkyl, or the like; R3 is either of groups of formula (II) to (IV)] or its salt. |
