PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy a construction width even when the construction width is narrow regardless of an inclined ground and an uneven ground when heavy and long materials are transported. SOLUTION: A long material transporting device for transporting the long materials put on a material storage space to a target yard is composed of two rails laid on between the material storage space and the target yard, a transporting vehicle having a hanging facility hanging and lifting and lowering the front and rear ends of the long material and a material carrying facility holding the long material hung with the hanging facility at a prescribed height and traveling on the rails, and a traction vehicle towing the transporting vehicle and traveling on the rails.
