<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible endoscopic device capable of detecting the bent state of a flexible tube for insert section without the variance of accuracy in the direction. SOLUTION: A plurality of flexible optical fibers for detecting bend 21 having a bend detecting section 22 where the amount of transmitted light varies in relation to the magnitude of angle by bending, are arranged spirally around an axis line parallel to the axis line of the flexible tube for insert section 1, and the bent state of a portion of the flexible tube for insert section 1 where each detecting section 22 is positioned, is detected from the amount of light transmitted by each optical fiber for detecting bend 21.</p> |
