PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Ti based heat resistant material which has excellent heat resistance. SOLUTION: This Ti based heat resistant material has a composition containing, by mass, 16 to 21% Nb, 10 to 16% Al, V or/and Mo by 2 to 7% in the total content of both and 0.03 to 1.0% Si, and the balance Ti with inevitable impurities. It is possible that a part of Nb is substituted with <=5% Ta, and the total content of Nb and Ta is 16 to 21%, and also, the total content of C, N and O contained as inevitable impurities is preferably controlled to <=0.10%.
