PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently manufacture a deformed part which protrudes long from the axis part by applying a swaging processing to a product of monolithic forming. SOLUTION: A plurality of dies are arranged movable in the radial direction which gather in the center and form a workpiece insert hole 9 with a noncircular cross section. The workpiece is machined through a process to form a deformed part on the workpiece with a noncircular cross section by not rotating the dies 4a to 4d and the workpiece W relatively, and a process to form a reduced-diameter part on the workpiece with a circular cross section by relatively rotating the dies 4a to 4d and the workpiece W.
