PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine main girder blocks with side girders in an integral arrangement by pre-stressing them. SOLUTION: Tension members, such as steel members, are inserted in both upper and lower parts of the inside of the wooden main girder blocks, whose cut ends are fitted into the side girders having communicating holes into which the tension members, such as steel members, penetrating through the main girder blocks are inserted. The tension members penetrating through communicating holes are fixed to the side girders at the both ends of the integrally arranged blocks in a tensioned manner. |
