PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain power loss when a swash plate inclination is small. SOLUTION: A second thrust bearing 43 is arranged on an end face side of a cylinder 19. Radius of the second thrust bearing 43 is smaller than that of a first thrust bearing 42. A position restriction ring 45 is engaged with and fixed on a rotation shaft 13. Pressure inside a control pressure chamber 121 acts on an inner end face 132 of the rotation shaft 13. When summation of compression reactions from respective cylinder bores 191 and atmospheric pressure acting on an end face of a protruding end 131 of the rotation shaft 13 is smaller than the pressure acting on the inner end face 132, the differential pressure between the summation and the pressure acting on the inner end face 132 is received by the cylinder 19 via the rotation shaft 3, the position restriction ring 45 and the second thrust bearing 43.
