PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a louver device having excellent workability on assembly and a small number of parts. SOLUTION: The louver device 1 has a louver frame 3, an auxiliary frame 5 installed on the inner circumferential side of the louver frame 3 and fixed to the louver frame 3 by screws, a plurality of indoor-side louver blades 7 mutually arranged on the indoor side of the louver frame 3 at intervals, a plurality of outdoor-side louver blades 9 arranged in the direction orthogonal to the louver blades 7 and mutually disposed on the outdoor side of the louver frame 3 at intervals and engaging members 11 for the louver blades 9. The louver blades 7 are fixed onto the auxiliary frame 5 by screws, and the engaging members 11 are secured along the longitudinal direction of the louver blades 7 and fixed to the louver blades 7 on the outdoor side of the louver blades 7. The louver blades 9 are engaged with the engaging members 11 by elastic engagement from the outdoor side while both ends are housed in the louver frame.
