PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removing instrument which is connected to a vacuum cleaner so as to be capable of removing dust with ease and allows cleaning to be easily done by using a mop, etc. SOLUTION: This dust removing instrument, which is composed of a bottom plate 1 and side plates 3 and 4 which are provided to surround the bottom plate 1 by forming an opened part in which one side of the bottom plate 1 is opened, is characterized as follows: the side plate 4 is provided with a connecting pipe 2 which is connected to the vacuum cleaner; a gap is formed at a prescribed interval between the bottom plate 1 and the side plate 4 on the side of the opened part; the gap is not formed between the bottom plate 1 and the respective side plates 3 and 4 except for the side of the opened part; and a chute 5 is provided in the side plate 4, facing the opened part from the side of the opened part, in such a manner as to be inclined toward a position above a position of connection of the connecting pipe 2.
