PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-solid food extruder capable of easily adjusting the waiting position for a press member. SOLUTION: This extruder includes a collapsible container containing a semi-solid food such as ice cream therein and provided with an extraction hole on one side thereof and a piston device 17 functioning to move a press head 173 from the other side of the container via a piston rod 174 toward the extraction hole, and works as follows: the container is collapsed by the press head 173 to extract the semi-solid food via the hole. This extruder further includes a position-adjusting mechanism 20 equipped with a screw member 21 connected with the piston device 17 and extending along the moving direction of the piston rod 174 and a pair of turnable adjusting members 22 mutually coupled through sandwiching a mount base plate 24 through which the screw member 21 is penetrated, at least one of which is screwed on the screw member 21. In this extruder, by turning the adjusting members 22, the screw member 21 moves vertically, thus setting the waiting position for the press head 173.
