PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary article capable of prolonging the effect of a hemorrhoids treating medicine, of preventing staining of a cloth by bleeding or a secreted body fluid, and of planning early cure of hemorrhoids. SOLUTION: The sanitary article 1 is equipped with a soft water absorptive sheet member 2 and an anus inserting member 3 formed in a protruded shape on the surface of the sheet member 2 to which a medicine can be adhered. An adhesion tape 4 for fixing the sheet member 2 to the affected part is attached at the end part of the surface of the sheet member 2. A rod-shape core material formed with a thermally softening material is arranged at the central part of the anus inserting member 3, and a water absorptive material 6 is arranged in its surrounding and entire sheet member 2. An impermeable layer 7 is disposed on the lower face of the water absorptive member 6 in the sheet member 2, and whole is covered by a soft coating material 8 having breathability and water permeability. After the hemorrhoids treating medicine 9 is adhered on or soaked in the coating material 8 or the like placed in the outer peripheral face of the anus inserting member 3, the anus inserting member 3 is inserted into the patient's anus, and is fixed by the adhesive tape 4.
