PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf which can be used as a shelf when required in a narrow space, and occasionally can be used as a hanging housing utensil, and thus, of which the using depending on the purpose is possible, and by which the effective utilization of a space is possible. SOLUTION: This shelf is equipped with a shelf board 2, supporting members 3 and 4, and a horizontally rotating shaft 6 which is axially supported by the supporting members 3 and 4. For the shelf board 2, the upper surface 21 is made a mounting section 22, and has the engaging section 24 of a hanging member 7 on the lower surface 23. Then, the shelf board 2 is rotatably fixed by the horizontally rotating shaft 6. At the same time, the shelf board 2 is made standable by being rotated, and making the engaging section 24 on the lower surface 23 face forward. Then, the shelf board 2 is usable by engaging a hanging member 7 with the engaging section 24 on the stood lower surface 23.
