PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use, light and easily portable tool for cleaning up excrement by which both of catching the excrement and collecting the excrement on the ground can be carried out because sometimes the excrement drops on the ground because of unexpected defecation and miss of the catching though the best cleaning up method of the excrement is the catching of the excrement before dropping on the ground. SOLUTION: This tool for cleaning up the excrement of the dog has both functions of catching the excrement and readily collecting the excrement on the ground. The tool has an irregular hexagonal shape having pointed tip part so that the tool can be used regardless of the size and kinds of the dog when catching the excrement of the dog. The tool is constituted so that the right and left sides of the excrement- receiving frames may turn in the reverse direction by centering the longitudinal axis so as to double the right and left parts to collect the excrement from the ground when the catching of the excrement has been failed. The excrement-catching parts at the centers of both frames engage with each other 30 as to form parallel straight lines to enable the excrement to be cleanly cleaned up. The upper parts of the frames are formed into an acute angle so that the frame can enter between the excrement and the ground, and the turning operation is carried out by a handle part or the like when the operation is directly carried out by the frames.
