PURPOSE: A luminous device is provided to improve the capability of injecting electrons from a cathode in a luminous element and solve problems about the production process thereof. CONSTITUTION: A luminous device comprises an anode(105), a cathode(102), an organic compound layer(104) provided between the anode and the cathode, and a conductive film(103) comprising an inorganic compound provided between the organic compound layer and the cathode, wherein the conductive film comprises a material having a smaller work function than the cathode and an electric conductivity of 1*10S/m or more.
