PURPOSE: A video shield structure of a monitor is provided to place the shield structure close to an electromagnetic wave leakage source of a cathode ray tube to shield electromagnetic waves more effectively. CONSTITUTION: A conductive gasket foam(16) is electrically connected to a video shield(6) and fixed to a predetermined portion of a video terminal combined with a neck(8) of a cathode ray tube. The gasket foam has a hole(12) at the center, through which the neck penetrates. A fixing plate(19) includes video terminal combination parts for stably combining the video terminal with the neck, and neck combination parts combined with the neck. One end of a conductive tape(13) surrounds the outer surface of the neck and the other end of the conductive tape is electrically connected to the hole of the gasket foam. A metal ring(20) combines the neck combination parts of the fixing plate with the neck.
