PURPOSE: A system and a method for a virtual card service are provided to prevent stealing and missing of a card by providing the virtual card usable for a period set by a customer, and to reduce the use time of an automated financial device and minimize a danger from exposing personal information by easily inputting card identification information of the virtual card to the automated financial device. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal(108) transmits a withdrawal amount and a withdrawal period of a virtual cash card. A virtual cash card system(100) checks that the withdrawal amount is deposited on a preset account. If the withdrawal amount is deposited to the account, the virtual card system(100) informs the customer terminal(108) of approval after saving the information for the withdrawal amount and period. If the identification information of the virtual cash card is inputted, the automated financial device(104) confirms the withdrawal period of the virtual cash card and withdraws the withdrawal amount from the account if the withdrawal period does not expire.
