PURPOSE: An apparatus for heating and cooling using hydrogen storage alloy is provided to simplify the total system. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus includes a pair of reactors(111,112) cooling or heating neighboring air using endothermic and exothermic reaction between hydrogen storage alloy and hydrogen; a hydrogen channel pipe(120) having one end connected with one of the reactors and the other end connected with the other of the reactors to act as a channel of hydrogen; a pumping device(130) installed on the hydrogen channel pipe to selectively and forcibly transport hydrogen to the reactors; air channel pipes guiding suction and discharge of air; an air blowing device(150) forcibly blowing air flowing through the air channel pipes; an air flow guiding device(160) partitioning spaces in which the reactors are placed and selectively determining flowing direction of air introduced and discharged through the air channel pipes to pass the reactors and flow into a room or the outdoors; and a housing(170) forming an exterior of the components and protecting the components against the outside environment.
