PURPOSE: An oligomer for fixing a biomaterial, its preparation method, a coating composition for fixing a biomaterial and a preparation method of a biochip prepared by using the composition are provided, to improve the heat stability and the chemical stability and to enable a uniform fixing layer having a high functional group density to be formed in a short time. CONSTITUTION: The oligomer is prepared by copolymerizing the aminosilane compound represented by H2N-R2-Si(OR1)3 or H2N-R2-SiX3; or copolymerizing the aminosilane compound represented by H2N-R2-Si(OR1)3 or H2N-R2-SiX3 with the hydrophobic silane compound represented by the formula, wherein R1 is a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group of C1-C14 or a halogen atom; R2 is an alkyl group of C1-C14, an aromatic group of C6-C12, an ether group, an ester group or an imine group; X is F, Cl, Br or I; R4 is an alkyl group of C1-C14, an aromatic group of C6-C12, a substituted aromatic group of C6-C12 or a fluoride compound; R5 and R6 are an alkoxy group of C1-C14, an acetoxy group, a hydroxy group or a halogen atom; R7 is H, an alkyl group of C1-C14 or an aromatic group of C6-C12; and n is an integer of 1-15. The composition comprises 0.1-50 wt% of the oligomer; and a diluting solvent.
