A video content viewing control system allows the entry of preprogrammed control level codes (0-8) so that corresponding sequences cannot be viewed except by entering an access code. The sequences may be skipped when the video system is watched by an individual who has not previously entered the access code, to avoid the appearance of a blank screen.
