<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To curtail the number of man-hour by simplifying assembly to a printed circuit board and enlarge mounting area for other parts by reducing projected area on the printed circuit board. SOLUTION: A female connector 11 for a printed circuit board is provided with a case body 12 and fixing parts 13. The fixing parts 13 is composed of a support part 13a, a holding part 13b, and metal pieces 15, the support part 13a formed at the bottom part of the case body 12. The length of the support part 13a to the length direction is set almost the same as that of protrusion 12a, and a terminal 14 side end part of the support part 13a is arrange at a position corresponding to the lower part of a terminal 14 side end of the protrusion 12a. The support part 13a has insertion-coupling holes 13c formed, into which the metal pieces 15 are press fitted firmly. The metal pieces 15 are applied with a bending process, the distance between outside faces of the insertion-coupling parts 15a of the two metal pieces 15 is set almost the same as the that in the left and right direction of the case body 12, and the terminal 14 side ends of the metal pieces 15 are arranged at a position almost corresponding to lower part of the terminal 14 side ends of the protrusions 12a.</p> |
