PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive operating device for a switch capable of reducing size and weight. SOLUTION: A second cam 50 is driven in the counterclockwise direction by an electric motor and starts the contact with an input level 37 from a first rotational angle position POS1. The second cam 50 rotates and drives the input lever 37 in the counterclockwise direction, energizes a circuit closing coil spring and locks engagingly and holds by a input latch 48. The second cam 50 still rotates in a counterclockwise direction, leaves from a lever 47, makes a cam switch 156 work at a second rotational angle position POS2 and cuts the current to the electric motor. The second cam 50 keeps rotating by the inertia of the electric motor, is braked by an elastic braking piece 159 at a third rotational angle position POS3 and stops in a prescribed rotation angle positional rangeΔθ. The second cam 50 can surely be stopped by the simple elastic braking piece 159.
