PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device, and mobile telephone apparatuses and electronic apparatuses which utilize the piezoelectric device whose shock resistance is made superior, owing to the fastening of its piezoelectric vibrating piece being firm, even when its constitution is made compact. SOLUTION: A tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibrating piece 32 stored in the piezoelectric device 30 has a base portion 51, fastened to the side of a package 36 and has a pair of vibrating arms 34, 35 extended in parallel with each other from the base portion, and further, there are made into curved-form or chamfered shapes of both the end portions 57, 57 present on the opposite side of the base portion 51 to the vibrating arms which are both the end potions in its width direction.
