ZINC OXIDE FINE PARTICLE FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop zinc oxide fine particles for electrophotography so as to provide an electrophotographic member which realizes high durability and high picture quality. SOLUTION: The zinc oxide fine particles are to be incorporated into an electrophotographic member and are prepared by depositing zinc oxide containing different kinds of elements on mother particles. The zinc oxide fine particles have >=1×10<2> Ωcm and <1×10<9> Ωcm resistance and >=0.1 μm and <5 μm volume average particle size and contain particles having >=5 μm particle size by <3% in number.
