PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device in which low density in an image can be prevented by detecting the state of toner packing and controlling the image forming state. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, a means to detect an output value corresponding to the quantity of developer existing in a specified part inside the developing device and a means to store the output value are provided and the variation in the distribution of the developer is detected based on the varied quantity of the output value using information from the storing means. |
