METHOD FOR PROVIDING CUSTOMIZED SERVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for providing a customized service in a communication network. SOLUTION: An initial service request is generated with a terminal and is then sent to a service provider server that is connected to the terminal. The initial service request is then analyzed with the service provider server. The steps of analyzing the initial service request comprises the steps of: (a) authenticating the terminal to verify that the terminal is authorized to conduct communication on the communication network, (b) ensuring service availability for the terminal by retrieving a service identifier for the terminal from a user information database located on the service provider server, (c) generating an authentication notification based on the results of steps (a) and (b) with the service provider server, and transmitting the authentication notification to the terminal from the service provider server.
