PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor in which zigzag bending work can be facilitated, a capacitor element can be shaped easily to have specified dimensions, an anode foil can be arranged easily at a specified position, and occurrence of incomplete capacitance can be prevented. SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor comprises a capacitor element 1 where a cathode foil 2 and electrolytic sheets 6-1 and 6-2 are laminated and bent zigzag while sandwiching anode foils 9-1 and 9-2 between the electrolytic sheets 6-1 and 6-2. At least any one bending part 3, 7-1 or 7-2 of the cathode foil 2, the electrolytic sheet 6-1 or 6-2 is provided with a perforation 4, 8-1 or 8-2.
