<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic delay ACK controller that can eliminate a reply of a duplicate ACK caused by inversion of packet receiving sequence on the occurrence of temporary duplicate path when a path optimizing function of a Mobile IP is applied on the occurrence of hand-over thereby avoiding re-transmission of useless packets from a server and enhancing the entire communication throughput. SOLUTION: When a processing section 24 detects occurrence of hand-over at movement between base stations, a setting section 26 sets a flag 38 denoting a dynamic delay ACK reply period for a predetermined period from the occurrence of the hand-over, an inspection section 30 inspects whether or not the flag 38 is set at reception of a packet form a base station device, and a control means comprising processing sections 34, 28, 36 applies dynamic delay ACK control to the mobile terminal to delay the ACK response with respect to the packet received from the base station device when the setting of the flag 38 is confirmed by the inspection.</p> |
