PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load applied to packet scheduling of a wireless base station in a wireless packet communication system consisting of the wireless base station having a wired network as the backbone and wireless terminals under its control. SOLUTION: The system has a terminal management table for each traffic category, terminal management table, traffic category selecting means, transmission opportunity allocating table, multi-polling means, collective ACK(ACKnowledgement) transmission means for each terminal, transmission opportunity timer for measuring a remaining time available for data transmission for wireless terminals in data transmission by using the allocating table, STA counter for counting the number of terminals for which allocation of transmission opportunity has completed out of the terminals listed in the allocating table, and STA pointer for showing the terminal in data transmission out of the terminals listed in the allocating table.
