Addition of at least one volatile substance, especially a fragrance, into a gaseous carrier flow incorporated in a transport device, e.g. a car, comprises bringing the gaseous carrier flow into contact with a liquid (4) in which the volatile substance is dissolved. This liquid is contained in a pressurized vessel (3). The gaseous carrier flow is delivered into the liquid via at least one feed line (1) connected in a gas-tight manner to the vessel. The gaseous carrier flow enriched with volatile substance is lead out of the vessel for further use via at least one outlet line (5). Independent claims are also included for an alternative process, and for devices used for carrying out the process. Preferred Features: The pressurized vessel is hermetically sealed within a housing partly filled with the liquid and partly filled with the carrier flow enriched with the fragrance.
