<p>The invention relates to a gear pump that is intended, in particular, for rubber mixtures. The inventive pump comprises a housing (12) containing a rotating gear wheel assembly consisting of a central gear wheel (4) which co-operates with two other peripheral gear wheels (3, 5). Said pump comprises at least one feed chamber containing at least one boost means which drives the material towards the housing (12) by means of at least one flow-through opening (17, 18). Each of the gear wheels (3, 4, 5) is driven directly by a motor torque. In addition, pre-stressing means between the teeth provide a leak-proof contact at the area where the teeth of the central wheel (4) engage with each of the peripheral wheels (3, 5).</p> |
