FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining ground and underground phytomass, energy of mineral elements of soil nutrition; additionally determining weight of microorganisms in root layer, doses of used mineral and organic fertilizers, coefficient of transfer of nutrition element energy from soil and fertilizers; determining ecological volume from related formula. Method is employed for ecology-energy analysis of agrophytocenosis used for working out of optimal field crop growing technologies. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved precision in determining coefficient of ecological volume of field crop agrophytocenosis. 2 tbl
