<p>A seating system (110) for a vehicle having a rearwardly opening door (118) relative to a seat (124). The seat having a seat cushion (116), seat back and a seat pivot (126) rotatably connected to the vehicle for rotation of the seat about a vertical axis. At least one linkage (112) is coupled between the seat cushion (116) and a vehicle door (118). The linkage is sized and positioned such that the seat pivots in response to the door movement. The seat remains substantially adjacent to the vehicle door.</p> |
