PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the lock mechanism of a slide core making the thickness or the like of a mold easy to correspond to a change. SOLUTION: The lock mechanism is adapted to the injection mold equipped with a fixed mold, a movable mold, the slide core movable in a cavity, and a slide unit. The slide unit is attached to the fixed mold or the movable mold to be locked with a slide core to move the slide core, and movable between an advance position and a retreat position. This lock mechanism is equipped with the lock member 66 provided to the fixed mold or the movable mold having the slide unit attached thereto, and movable between a first position locked with the slide unit present at the advance position to prevent the movement of the slide unit toward the retreat position and a second position permitting the movement of the slide unit to the retreat position; and the drive means provided to the fixed mold or the movable mold having the slide unit attached thereto and moving the lock member between the first and second positions.
