NEW POLYACETYLENE DERIVATIVE AND CHIRAL SENSOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophilic polymer that responds to the chirality of optically active materials in a wide range with a higher sensitivity. SOLUTION: A poly(alkoxyhydroxyphosphorylarylacetylene) or a salt thereof is used that is represented by general formula (1) (wherein Ar is an aryl group; R is an alkyl group; and (n) is >=5). The poly (alkoxyhydroxyphosphorylarylacetylene) or the salt is used for a chiral sensor or an optical resolution agent.
