摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high quality large screen image which is excellent in an angle of visibility characteristics, has little color shifts and is also bright and where display nonuniformity is hard to occur with an active matrix type liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: Pixel electrodes (common electrodes 42 and 43 and a liquid crystal driving electrode 44) are formed with a light transmittance conductive material, and the thickness of the pixel electrode is made <=700 angstrom with respect to a horizontal electric field type liquid crystal panel. Furthermore, the pixel electrodes are bent by one or more times within one pixel within the range between 0 and 30 degrees with respect to an orientational direction of a liquid crystal molecule.
