PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent damage of a mold when a lost foam pattern is lost, and to efficiently obtain the mold having high quality. SOLUTION: The lost foam pattern 10 is made with a stereo lithography, and a refractory 14 is covered on the surface of this lost foam pattern 10 to form a mold structural body 16 and pouring gate part 12 is manufactured by using a material having the same coefficient of thermal expansion as the refractory 14, and this pouring gate part 12 is joined so as to correspond to the pouring gate portion in the lost foam pattern 10. Successively, the lost foam pattern 10 is lost by heating the mold structural body 16, so that the mold 18 for precision casting, is manufactured.
