PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally printing sheet for a handy terminal in which a drop-out color is not necessarily considered by preventing a thermal head from being early worn without impairing a printing quality in the printing sheet used in the terminal for printing required information such as meter reading information or the like at its place at a meter reading time of a using amount of a gas, an electricity, water works or the like. SOLUTION: Preprinting parts 3a, 3b are formed on parts except a blank area 2 in which information of a predetermined form is printed. Thus, a coloring fault generated due to printing on the preprinting parts 3a, 3b covering a heat- sensitive color developing layer is prevented, the printing quality can be stabilized, and an early wear of the head can be prevented. Further, when a payment handling slip 5b or the like to be machine-processed by an optical reader such as an OCR, a scanner or the like is formed, it is not necessary to consider the drop-out color, and the preprinting parts 3a, 3b can be formed by using an arbitrary color.
