PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the laser beam output adjusting work easily and quickly. SOLUTION: In a laser outputting unit for controlling the output of a laser diode array 20 comprising a plurality of laser diodes 21, 22 and a photodiode 23 stored in a package by laser driving parts 1, 2 each according to the comparison result of comparaters 3, 4, a first variable resistor 7 for adjusting the intensity of a detection signal by the photodiode 23, and a second variable resistor 12 for adjusting the intensity of a reference signal generated by a reference signal generating part 10 are provided such that the second variable resistor 12 is set at the median value of the adjustable range at the time of starting the adjustment.
