<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating and refining a gas capable of efficiently recovering a krypton from a mixed gas of a low flow rate of the krypton and a nitrogen without solidifying, depositing, closing and lowering a heat transfer efficiency in a duct, a heat exchanger and a distilling column due to solidifying and freezing of the krypton. SOLUTION: The method for separating and refining the krypton from the mixed gas of the krypton and the nitrogen comprises a compressing step, a cooling step, a low-temperature distilling of separating the cooled mixed gas into the nitrogen and the krypton, a condensing and evaporating step of vaporizing a liquefied krypton and liquefying the nitrogen gas by a heat of the vaporization of the liquefied krypton, a step of picking the liquefied krypton as a product from the distilling step, and a step of deriving the nitrogen as an exhaust gas. The method further comprises a step of low-temperature distilling the mixed gas with a liquefied nitrogen from the condensing and evaporating step as a reflux liquid by using the krypton gas from the condensing and evaporating step as a raising gas.</p> |
