<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a colored multilayered pigment having high coloring properties without having conspicuous angular-dependent coloring property, having conspicuous favorable applications and producible by a simple method. SOLUTION: This color pigment is based on a multilayered covered flaky substrate characterized by containing (A) a coat having >1.8 refractive index (n) and 20-500 nm layer thickness, (B) a colorless coat having <=1.8 reflactive index (n) and 10-100 nm layer thickness, (C) a colorless coat having >1.8 reflactive index (n) and 20-500 nm layer thickness, (D) a coat of absorbent pigment particles having 1-500 nm particle diameter and, as necessity, (E) an outside protective layer. The applications of the color pigment for laser marking in covering materials, coating materials, printing inks, plastics, ceramic materials, glass and cosmetic preparations are provided, and the applications for producing pigment preparations and desiccating preparations are also provided.</p> |
