PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which laser control can be carried out such that a laser element having bad characteristics is not rejected but accepted. SOLUTION: At most total number -1 elements are selected among total number of laser elements 4-3,..., 4-6 constituting the matrix of an array laser having at least 2×2 matrix structure and an array laser 4-1 capable of outputting a light beam is employed for constituting an imaging apparatus.
