PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform test exposure in an entire effective exposure area without requiring preparation of a wider photosensitive material neither performing distribution before exposure with respect to an exposure device having a line exposure means of which the effective exposure width is wider than a photosensitive material. SOLUTION: The longer side of the photosensitive material cut into the effective exposure width of the line exposure means or longer is set in the direction orthogonal to the carrying direction of the photosensitive material to perform text exposure in the entire effective exposure width, region and thus the photosensitive material having the width for normal use is used to perform text exposure in the entire effective exposure width region of the line exposure means by one exposure operation without requiring a wider photosensitive material or a device for distribution before exposure.
